Corrections
If a figure on this site is wrong, tell us the page and the source you believe is correct. We publish every sourced value with its publisher and date, so a correction is usually a matter of updating one row — and we would rather be corrected than quietly wrong. Please include the URL and, where you have it, the statutory citation or agency page that supports your reading.
Suggest a topic
We add guides where a real question is not answered well elsewhere. If you have been through a car purchase and hit something the site does not cover — a dealer add-on, a title problem, a refinance that did not work out — that is useful information. Tell us the question you were trying to answer rather than the keyword you searched for.
Report a calculator problem
If a calculator returns something that looks wrong, include the inputs you used and the result you saw. Our calculators are tested against independently computed values, so a genuine discrepancy is a bug we want to fix quickly. Note that the tools model principal and interest; they cannot reproduce a specific lender's fee schedule or rounding conventions.
What we cannot help with
AutoLoanable is not a lender, a dealership, a broker or a credit counsellor. We do not process applications, we cannot review your credit, we cannot approve a loan, and we cannot advise on your personal finances or tell you whether a particular vehicle is a good buy. Contact your lender, the dealer, or a nonprofit credit counselling service for anything specific to your situation.
If you think you have been scammed
Report it to the Federal Trade Commission at ReportFraud.ftc.gov and to your state's attorney general. If a lender or dealer has broken the law, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau accepts complaints at consumerfinance.gov/complaint. We are not an enforcement agency and cannot recover money, but we do write about the patterns so other buyers recognise them.
Privacy of your message
We read every message but we cannot promise a reply to all of them. We do not add contacts to any mailing list, and we do not share correspondence with lenders. Please do not send account numbers, Social Security numbers or documents — we have no way to store them securely and no need for them.
